An intern full of dreams walked the halls of a TV network and, against all odds, rose to Vice President, ultimately leading three departments, including the very one where she first landed. During her time at NBCUniversal Telemundo, she led publicity, cross promotions, and talent strategy during a period of historic growth, overseeing campaigns for global events such as the Olympic Games, the Billboard Latin Music Awards, and more than 100 series, including the record-breaking La Reina del Sur, which helped position the network as #1.
Grateful for all she had achieved, she let it go to seize what she believed was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity: joining the launch team of FOX US Hispanic Network (MundoFox) as Vice President of Content Strategy & Communications. It was a bold move, close to her heart yet outside her comfort zone, that placed her at the forefront of introducing Turkish, biblical, and Korean dramas to the U.S. Hispanic market, paving the way for content trends that have impacted the programming landscape to this day.
That leap prepared her for an even greater one: leaving corporate life to launch her own business. As President of Suzette Millo Agency (SMA), she has since advised top executives, celebrities, and media enterprises on positioning, reputation, and growth. In this role, she also played a pivotal part in the historic launch of Imagen Televisión in Mexico, guiding communications and content strategy as the network captured 10% market share in its first year.
Meanwhile, something even more purposeful was taking shape behind the scenes. Parents, students, colleagues, and professionals began seeking her advice, not just about business, but about life. She embraced this role wholeheartedly, which led to the creation of her content platforms: SUCANAL on YouTube, her weekly column in Las Top News, and the upcoming SUpérate Podcast.
Across these spaces, as well as through personal appearances, she shares reflections, motivation, and perspective — often with a touch of humor — reminding audiences that life is too short, too hard, and too precious not to laugh when we can. Through her voice, Suzette encourages others to look within, dare greatly, and spread their wings.
